No, women don’t lose their beauty or value after 25 – substack.com

I’m writing this not as a theory, but from experience.

I’m 26 years old, and I’ve spoken to many women around me friends, acquaintances, even women who opened up in random conversations. And there is one common feeling that keeps repeating: pressure, fear, and this constant sense that “time is running out” and they somehow need to catch up to something.

Somewhere along the way, society decided that a woman’s “peak” ends almost the moment she stops being a teenager.
That after 25, she starts to decline.
That she becomes “less desirable.”
That her value somehow expires like a product with a date on it.

This idea is not just outdated it’s socially constructed.

And we need to say it clearly: women do not lose their beauty or their value with age.

The obsession with very young female beauty is not random.
It comes from a culture that has historically linked a woman’s value to:
fertility
male validation
youthful appearance
and control over female sexuality

In this framework, youth becomes “desirable” not only aesthetically, but socially because it is easier to idealize, shape, and consume.

But this is not truth. It is construction.

The truth about women that is not said enough

What I’ve seen in the women around me is the exact opposite of this stereotype.

They don’t disappear with age. Their value doesn’t shrink.

Instead, as they grow older, they become more self-aware. They know better who they are, what they want, and what they won’t accept. They carry a clearer presence, a stronger personality, a more grounded energy.

And that is something very beautiful but it is not easily recognized by a society that has been taught to equate value with youth.

If you are a woman reading this: your age does not reduce anything about you.

It does not “end” you.
It does not define you.
It does not place you in a lower category.

It is just a number.

Your value is not measured in a birth date, but in how you live, how you love, how you evolve, and how you stand in yourself and in the world.

And you deserve RESPECT at every age.

A woman’s value is not measured in years.

And the faster we stop connecting beauty with age, the faster we stop creating insecurity where there doesn’t need to be any.

Women don’t lose their beauty after 25.

They just stop needing anyone’s permission to define it. ✨👑
