Stephanie Curran
A community in Co Dublin has been plunged into mourning following the sudden death of a 'beautiful and kind' young Irish girl 'loved by so many' who passed away suddenly in Australia.
Stephanie Curran, 29, from Ballymun in north Dublin, passed away "suddenly and unexpectedly" in Perth on Wednesday, October 14, according to a death notice shared on RIP.ie.
The notice described Stephanie as the "beloved daughter of Stephen and Amanda and loving sister of Séan, Jade, Anthony, Adam, Katie, Stephen, Emily, Sophie, Molly, Lewis and Lilly," adding that she will be "sadly missed by her family, nieces and nephews Jordan, Kobi, Georgia, Indi and Cole, partner Frazer, in-laws and partners, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends".
Stephanie's death has sent shockwaves through the local community in Ballymun and her adopted home in Perth, with friends and family sharing emotional tributes to the popular young woman.
In an emotional message shared on social media, Stephanie's sister Jade wrote: "You are only 29.
"You are so beautiful. You are funny. You are kind. You are a little crazy. You are a daddy’s girl. You are loved by so many. You are idolized by your younger sisters. You are Frazers world.

"And Stephanie… you are my best friend. You are my rock, my shoulder to cry on. My biggest supporter. It was me and you against the world.
"You know how much I love you. And I’m going to miss you so much more.
"Sleep tight my beautiful baby sister. I love you with all my heart."
A close friend said: "Today heaven became a bit more colorful and earth a bit more dull. Talk about someone who proved that you’re NOT defined by your environment. You threw yourself out into the world and refused to be stopped by ANYTHING or ANYONE and for that you will be looked up to and remembered forever.
"Thank you for all the memories. Thank you for all the laughs. Thank you for telling us when we were in the wrong and thank you for supporting us all when it was tough. I choose to celebrate you, Pepper.
"I can’t even begin to describe how much we will all miss you. Please look over your dad, your brothers and sisters, your nieces and nephews. Rest in peace, Stephanie Curran."
A GoFundMe page has been set-up on behalf of Stephanie's family to help cover the cost of bringing her body back home to Ireland to be buried.

A message shared by the fundraiser's organiser, Christine, said: "Hi everyone, I’m Christine I’ve been asked by Stephanie's family & friends to create this go fund me.
"We are looking to make this heart-breaking time a little bit easier for all those affected by the sudden loss of the beautiful Stephanie.
"This is a horrific time for all yet again another young life gone just at the age of 29.
"If the community of ballymun can do what we do best dig deep & get this beautiful girl back from Australia & give her the send of she deserves, Thank you everyone."
The GoFundMe page has raised over €27,500 from more than 60 donations which will "allow Sean and family prepare and ensure Steph gets the most amazing farewell".
