Tributes have been flooding in for a mother-of-two killed in Derry on Saturday.
On March 21, detectives from the PSNI Major Investigation Team launched a murder investigation after a woman was found injured and taken to hospital, where she later died.
She has been named locally as Amy Doherty, a young mother in her 20s. A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at this time.
Shock and devastation have been felt in the local community, as well as across Northern Ireland, as her death marks the 30th woman to be killed in the country since 2020.
People who knew and loved Amy have taken to social media to share their sadness at the news of her death and remember the person she was.
One friend said: "The most beautiful girl, with the biggest heart, forever making me laugh, we will miss you forever."
Another said: "I’m absolutely heart broken, my poor best friend. I have absolutely no words. What am I going to do without you Amy.
"I’ll love you forever and always . I’m going to miss you so much sister, I’m so heartbroken.
"I’m going to be lost without you . The best mommy and best friend".

A spokesperson for her employers, NWCare, called her "exceptional" and a "much loved" member of their team.
Their tribute read: "The Management and staff of NWCare are devastated to learn about the unexpected passing of Amy, one of our much loved and exceptional staff, under such tragic circumstances.
"Amy was the essence of humanity, kind, compassionate and beautiful.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and children at this very sad and difficult time. From all her colleagues and friends at NWCare."
SDLP Foyle MLA Mark H Durkan expressed his shock and deep sadness at the news of Amy's death and the "unimaginable loss" felt by her loved ones.
He said: "This is heartbreaking and deeply distressing news for our city. The death of a young woman in such circumstances has left people right across Derry shocked and saddened.
"My thoughts are first and foremost with her family and friends, who are now facing this unimaginable loss. No words can ease that grief, but they should know they are in the thoughts and prayers of the entire community.
"There will be understandable concern within the local area following this incident. I would urge anyone who has any information to bring it forward to the PSNI to assist their investigation."

UUP Alderman Darren Guy also expresses heartfelt condolences following the news of her murder.
“Heartbreaking news on the tragic murder of Amy Doherty, a young mother who has been so cruelly taken from her young children and her loving family in the most awful of circumstances," he said.
“The entire city is devastated to hear this tragic news. My thoughts along with the whole city are very much with Amy’s young children and her entire family circle at this deeply difficult time.
“As the local councillor for the Waterside, I stand with the whole community in shock and sorrow. No family should ever have to endure such pain, and I encourage anyone with information to come forward to the PSNI.
“My heartfelt condolences go to all who knew and loved Amy. She will be remembered, and her family will remain in our prayers.”
Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin from the Police Service’s Major Investigation Team said: “Officers attended a property in the Summer Meadows Mews area of the city at around 10.20 am and located an injured woman at the scene.
“She was taken to hospital by our colleagues in the NIAS where she sadly died.
“A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
“Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, who are left trying to come to terms with this shocking loss.
“Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing to anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact our officers on 101 quoting reference 469 – 21/03/26.”
