A beauty queen is hoping to be the first married woman to be crowned Miss Universe Great Britain.
Brooke Smith has previously won two major UK pageants – Miss Intercontinental England 2022 and Miss Earth England 2024.
She will head to Newport, Wales, on July 11 to compete for the new title.

The Miss Universe organisation made a major change in 2023 when it started allowing married women, divorced women and mothers to compete for the first time.
The upper age limit of 28 was also removed.
"Since these rules have come into place, a married woman is yet to win for Great Britain and I’m hoping that I can be the first, " the 27-year-old, from Beccles, said.
"I really believe that having a married woman win the title would not only challenge traditional stereotypes about beauty and femininity but also highlight the multifaceted roles women play in society.

"It would send a powerful message that marriage can coexist with ambition and leadership, showcasing a model of empowerment that encourages women to embrace their personal and professional lives fully."
Competitors will go through three judged rounds – interview, swimwear and evening wear.
The winner will travel to Puerto Rico later in the year to represent Great Britain at Miss Universe.
